Iris makes the complicated simple
Here's what everyone's thinking and nobody says: people hate doing taxes. Not because they're lazy. Because it's complicated, it takes time, and it's uncomfortable. You drive to someone else's office, wait your turn, hand your Social Security number to a stranger and sign government forms you don't fully understand. Then you spend the year wondering if you missed something.
Iris takes all of that off your plate. With 20+ years of tax seasons behind her, she knows which questions to ask, which documents matter and which credits people like you qualify for. She turns a pile of confusing paperwork into a simple answer: what you owe or what you're getting back, why, and what to do next. Her goal is to get you every dollar you're entitled to and make sure you pay not a dollar more than you owe.
And she does it where you're comfortable. Your living room. Your dining table. Your shop after closing. No drive, no waiting room, no wasted Saturday.
The usual way
- Drive to a tax office and wait your turn
- Forms and rules nobody explains
- Rushed by whoever happens to be free
- Wondering for months if you missed something

The Tax Link way
- Iris comes to your living room or dining table
- Every line explained in plain English or Spanish
- Every deduction and credit you qualify for, checked
- One guide with 20+ years of experience, start to finish
- A price you know before she starts
The result is relief. You keep every dollar you're entitled to, you understand what you signed, and you get your Saturday back. All you have to do is open the door.
Three steps to a finished return

- Your return is reviewed and e-filed. Before she leaves, you see the result, sign, and get a copy and your filing confirmation.

Tax Preparation
Personal and business tax returns prepared at your home or office in Clearwater. Iris handles W-2 households, retirees, gig workers, landlords and small companies, plus amended returns, late returns from prior years and extensions. She reviews your documents with you, checks every deduction and credit you qualify for, explains the result in English or Spanish, and e-files before she leaves. You get a price before she starts and a copy of everything for your records.

Bookkeeping
Monthly bookkeeping for Clearwater small businesses: income and expenses categorized, bank and credit card accounts reconciled, and simple reports you can actually read. Iris sets up or cleans up QuickBooks, coordinates payroll filings, and keeps Florida sales tax returns on schedule. Because the same person who keeps your books also prepares your business tax return, the numbers match at year-end and nothing gets lost between two offices. She can work at your shop or remotely, whichever you prefer.

Notary
Iris is a Florida notary public who travels to homes, offices, hospitals and assisted living communities in Clearwater. She notarizes affidavits, powers of attorney, vehicle and boat title paperwork, school and travel consent forms, and other documents that need a notarized signature. She can also notarize at the same visit as your tax appointment. She checks identification, keeps a record of each notarization, and follows Florida notary law. As a notary she does not give legal advice or prepare legal documents.

Tax Planning
Tax planning sessions at your home or business, before the year closes, when you still have options. Iris estimates what you'll owe, sets up quarterly estimated payments if you're self-employed or retired, and looks for deductions and credits you can still act on, such as retirement contributions, equipment timing and dependent care. It's practical planning for families and small businesses, not complicated strategies. You leave knowing what to set aside and what to do before December 31.

IRS Notice Help
If the IRS sent you a letter, don't ignore it and don't panic. Iris reads the notice with you, explains what the IRS is asking for, gathers the documents that answer it, and helps you prepare the response before the deadline on the letter. She also helps you request IRS payment plans when you can't pay a balance all at once, and prepares requests for penalty relief when you qualify. Most notices are routine. The key is answering on time.

Individual Tax Returns
Most Clearwater households need one thing in tax season: an accurate Form 1040, filed on time, with every credit they qualify for. Iris prepares individual returns at your kitchen table for W-2 employees, families with kids, retirees and people with some gig income. She checks the Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, education credits and the newer deductions for tips, overtime and taxpayers 65 and older. You see the result before anything is filed, and your refund goes straight to your bank.

Self-Employed and 1099 Returns
If you get a 1099 instead of a W-2, your taxes work differently. You owe self-employment tax, you need records for every deduction, and the IRS expects quarterly payments. Iris prepares Schedule C returns for contractors, gig drivers, stylists, cleaners and other independent workers in Clearwater, at your home or job site. She organizes your mileage and expenses, checks the qualified business income deduction, and sets up estimated payments so next year has no surprises.

Business Tax Returns
Small business returns for Clearwater LLCs, partnerships and S corporations, prepared at your business instead of a tax office. Iris works from your books, reconciles the balance sheet, issues owner K-1s on time and files the Florida corporate return when one is required. If she also keeps your books, the numbers line up automatically. Salon owners, contractors, restaurants and family companies use Tax Link because one person handles the bookkeeping, the business return and the owners' personal returns.
Who Iris comes to

A mobile tax preparer makes the most sense for people whose time, health or schedule makes an office visit hard. Most of Iris's clients fit one of these:
- Retirees and homebound clients. No driving, no stairs, no waiting room. Iris sits with you in your living room and takes all the time you need. Family members are welcome at the table.
- Working parents. Weekends belong to your kids. Iris comes after work or on a Saturday morning, and the kids can stay home with you.
- Contractors and tradespeople. Your office is your truck. Iris meets you at home or at the shop and sorts receipts, mileage and 1099s with you.
- Small business owners. You can't close the salon, café or store to visit a tax office. Iris comes to your business after hours.
- Spanish-speaking households. Iris explains every number in Spanish, so the whole family understands what is being signed.
- Hospitality and service workers. Clearwater Beach runs on tips and overtime. Iris checks whether the newer deductions for qualified tips and overtime pay apply to you.
What happens when Iris arrives
Iris arrives in her Tax Link polo with a full mobile office: laptop, portable scanner, printer and secure document case. She works at your table, not behind a counter.
First, she looks at last year's return and this year's documents with you and asks about anything that changed: a new job, a baby, a move, a side business, a home sale. Then she prepares the return while you go about your day nearby. A typical individual return takes about [typical appointment length].
When it's ready, she walks you through the result: what you owe or what you're getting back, and why. You sign electronically, she e-files, and you keep a copy. Your original documents never leave your sight.

What to have ready
Having these on the table makes the visit quick. If something is missing, Iris will tell you exactly what to request and from whom.
- Photo ID for you and your spouse
- Social Security cards or ITIN letters for everyone on the return, including children
- Last year's tax return
- W-2s from every job, and any 1099 forms (1099-NEC, 1099-K, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-R, SSA-1099)
- Form 1098 for mortgage interest and your property tax bill if you itemize
- Childcare provider name, address and tax ID, plus amounts paid
- Form 1095-A if you bought health insurance through the Marketplace
- Receipts and mileage records if you're self-employed
- Bank routing and account number for direct deposit
What it costs
You get a price before Iris starts, with no surprises at the end. Simple individual returns start at [starting price]. Returns with self-employment, rental property or business income are quoted after a short phone call so you know the number up front.
Travel: [travel area and any travel fee]. Iris will tell you on the phone if anything about your return changes the quote.
Meet Iris Valentin
Iris is the owner of Tax Link Mobile Services and the person who comes to your door. She has prepared tax returns for 20+ tax seasons, working with families, retirees, gig workers and small business owners across Pinellas County.
She started Tax Link because she watched too many people dread tax season and leave money unclaimed because the process felt intimidating. Her answer was to bring the office to them, take her time, and explain everything in the language they're most comfortable with.
[Confirm: Iris holds an IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)]. Tax Link is not a CPA firm and does not provide audit or attestation services. More about Iris.

Tax Link's home base is Clearwater, from Countryside and Island Estates to Morningside and Clearwater Beach. Questions people ask before they call
Do you really come to my house?
Yes. That is the whole service. Iris comes to your home, office or business anywhere in Pinellas County with a complete mobile office. Her home base is Clearwater. You never have to visit an office.
How long does an appointment take?
A typical individual return takes about [typical appointment length]. Returns with a business, rental property or several years to catch up take longer, and Iris will tell you what to expect when you book.
How much does it cost?
Simple individual returns start at [starting price]. You always get the price before Iris begins. Business, self-employed and rental returns are quoted after a short call.
Will you find every deduction and credit I qualify for?
Iris checks every deduction and credit you qualify for, including the Earned Income Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit where they apply. Paid preparers must complete IRS due-diligence checks for those credits, and Iris follows them so your refund holds up.
Do you speak Spanish?
Sí. Iris is fully bilingual and can prepare your return and explain the results in Spanish or English. Family members who prefer either language are welcome at the table.
Is my information safe with a mobile preparer?
Your documents stay with you. Iris scans what she needs, works on an encrypted, password-protected laptop, files electronically and does not leave paper copies of your sensitive documents in her car. Read our privacy policy for the details.
Do I need to file a Florida state income tax return?
No. Florida has no state personal income tax, so most Clearwater residents file only a federal return. You may need another state's return if you moved here during the year or earned income in another state, and Iris prepares those too.
Are you a CPA?
No. Tax Link Mobile Services provides professional tax preparation, bookkeeping and notary services. We are not certified public accountants and do not provide audit, review or attestation services.
What if I owe money?
Iris shows you the amount before anything is filed and explains your options, including paying in full, paying by the deadline, or requesting an IRS payment plan if you can't pay it all at once.
Can you notarize documents during my tax appointment?
Yes. Iris is a Florida notary and can notarize documents at the same visit, which saves you a second trip.
What if the IRS sends me a letter later?
Call Iris. She will read it with you, explain what it means and help you prepare a response. If she prepared the return, she already knows the details.
What areas do you serve?
All of Pinellas County, from Tarpon Springs to St. Petersburg and the beaches, with Clearwater as home base. Iris also serves nearby parts of Pasco and Hillsborough counties when her schedule allows.
